Human resources
across the full function

Senior Manager / Director level. 17+ years across the full HR function — benefits and compensation, employee relations and conduct, leadership and talent development, training, HRIS and documentation, vendor governance, and executive and company-wide communications. Carrier-trained at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, then proven employer-side at Atrius Health and CareQuest Institute.

About

I learned HR from inside a health plan, then carried that literacy in-house across every part of the function.

My career began at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where I spent 14 years progressing from frontline member and provider support through people leadership, training, and operations into senior national and key-account consulting. That is where I learned how coverage is designed, priced, serviced, and explained — and what happens when any part of that chain fails the person on the plan.

I later led employer-side health, welfare, and retirement at Atrius Health through its post-acquisition integration into Optum, and covered the HR and total rewards function at CareQuest Institute for Oral Health — including Delta Dental of Massachusetts. There the work was moving off a PEO, standing up a direct-employer model, governing vendors and brokers, building a 457(b) Top Hat plan, and running open enrollment under ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and Massachusetts PFML.

Along the way I have owned the things that make an HR function hold up under pressure: employee relations and conduct, leadership and talent development, training, HRIS and documentation standards, and the executive and company-wide communications that keep the workforce aligned. My specialty is benefits and compensation — that is where I am strongest — but I am comfortable leading across the full HR landscape.

I am exceptional at HRIS and documentation standards, rigorous on HIPAA and PII, and known for finding non-standard, technology-first workarounds that take cost and friction out of administration — using Python, RPA, and modern tooling to recapture capacity for work that actually matters.
